Hotel Grims Grenka (former Hotel Nobel House). Look out for flying plates, kitchenware and candlesticks. Most activities in the basement and the basement bar called “Ghost Lounge”.  The ground where the hotel was built, was a former cemetery for Swedish soldiers.  Some guests report being pushed by an invisible being, others of tv and lights turning on and off by itself.

The scream from Knuts Tower at Akershus Fortress.  Knut Alvssøn the only man in history who has successfully attacked and conquered the fortress (the early 1500s). The king sent his best men to reclaim the fortress. The kingsmen successfully trapped Knut and killed him.  Knuts body was placed in Knuts tower to rotten, denying him a burial. Throughout the years many have heard a scream from Knuts tower either the night to 15 of August when Knut was trapped or night to 16 of August when he was killed.

The ghost dog named Malcanisen at Akershus fortress. Malcanisen guards Akershus Fortress’s former main entrance.  In the middle ages, it was common to bury a living animal, in front of the entrance, to protect against dark powers and anything unnatural. If you see Malcanisen it is said that an accident will soon happen to you.
