Heffanutt is making a snow angel. Ant King wouldn`t join him, thinking it`s a childish thing to do and he is still a little grumpy about yesterday. Heffanutt have a terrible headace and couldn`t eat his breakfast. There is no way he will taste Ant Kings drinks ever again. Heffanutts hoping that a bit of fresh air would help. While laying there, Heffanutt`s thinking of the wonders of winter. Very pleased with the result he runs to get Ant King, telling him to come and take a look.
Ant King is a bit unwillingly, but when he sees the happiness of Heffanutts face he soon follows him to admire the angel.
They both look at the angel wondering, has the neighbor got a child visitor? But why would a child go into a stranger’s garden just to make footsteps all over an angel in the snow? Little footsteps with something that looks like tiny clogs.
22nd of December. A Chrismas tree is a must. Lucky Heffanutt and Ant King are able to get it right from the forest behind their house. They found a perfect sized one, not too tall to reach the top but still tall enough for lots of presents underneath it.
20th of December, only a few days left. Come birds, come and eat… Remembering the tiny ones at Christmas too.
While admiring the birds Ant King tries ty sumen up what he know about the mysterious creature. At least he hope it`s one and not several. He is the height of a child 2-3 years old, wearing a red wollen hat and probably clogs, and he loves to be mischievous. Ant King can`t figure out why he is behaving as he does, because he nor Heffanutt have enemies they know of. Ant King is more eager to solve the mystery, now more curious than scared. Will they be able to celebrate Christmas in peace and quiet.
Heffanutt has written Christmas cards all day long, he has so many friends that he wants to write to. He hates the thought of someone not receiving Christmas cards at all, and therefore he wrote to everyone, even the grumpy mole. He was so happy when he finally could post the cards, thinking of the happy smiles of the receiver, well except the mole then.
He’s putting the cards in the mailbox one by one, counting to make sure everyone is sent. Suddenly in the corner of his eye, he sees something and turns around. The top of a little red hat is moving away, the owner is too small to be seen in the deep snow. The red hat is heading in the direction of Heffanutts and Ant King’s home.
Making a snow cave is exciting, at least that’s what Ant King thinks. Make sure to be careful where you put it so no accidents happen. Heffanutt is helping to dig out the cave, he thinks it`s a little scary to be inside, but it`s cozy too… It`s the 16th of December today, the boys are getting really impatient.
