22nd of December. A Chrismas tree is a must. Lucky Heffanutt and Ant King are able to get it right from the forest behind their house. They found a perfect sized one, not too tall to reach the top but still tall enough for lots of presents underneath it.

Time to finish decorating the house. Heffanutt and Ant King likes to decorate little by little, finishing up right before Christmas.

Heffanutt can`t help but look over his shoulder from time to time. Worried that someone unknown would sneek upon him from behind.  Oh, the house is usually very cozy before Christmas, but now something dark has crept in.

20 sette opp nek (464x640)

20th of December, only a few days left. Come birds, come and eat…  Remembering the tiny ones at Christmas too.

While admiring the birds Ant King tries ty sumen up what he know about the mysterious creature. At least he hope it`s one and not several. He is the height of a child 2-3 years old, wearing a red wollen hat and probably clogs, and he loves to be mischievous. Ant King can`t figure out why he is behaving as he does, because he nor Heffanutt have enemies they know of. Ant King is more eager to solve the mystery, now more curious than scared. Will they be able to celebrate Christmas in peace and quiet.

Oh no, not again! Heffanutt and Ant King went to the stable to get the pony ready for a sleigh ride. The poor pony’s mane is all tangled and full of knots. And the blankets they use to snuggle up in when driving is full of straw. They go to work, using several hours to fix the pony’s mane. What a mess.  It`s the afternoon before they finally can put the pony in front of the sleigh.

With a lit torch on each side of the sleigh and a dark blue sky with stars, the ride becomes a good one after all

Jingle bells, jingle bells…Taking the pony out for a sleigh ride, nothing says Christmas more for those two.

18 sende julekort (640x354)

Heffanutt has written Christmas cards all day long, he has so many friends that he wants to write to.  He hates the thought of someone not receiving Christmas cards at all, and therefore he wrote to everyone, even the grumpy mole. He was so happy when he finally could post the cards, thinking of the happy smiles of the receiver, well except the mole then.

He’s putting the cards in the mailbox one by one, counting to make sure everyone is sent.  Suddenly in the corner of his eye, he sees something and turns around.  The top of a little red hat is moving away, the owner is too small to be seen in the deep snow. The red hat is heading in the direction of Heffanutts and Ant King’s home.
