- They live in sub-Saharan Africa, northeast Africa, Central Asia, India, and China
- These large cats can live in almost any type of habitat, including rainforests, deserts, woodlands, grassland savannas, forests, mountain habitats, coastal scrub, shrub lands, and swampy areas
