Sørengkaia is one of the newest neighbourhoods by the Oslo fjord. The Sørenga peninsula stretches a good way out into the fjord in the Bjørvika area, and it is part of Oslo’s urban fjord development initiative. The area consists of residential complexes and restaurants at the water’s edge.
Sørengkaia was formerly an old container dock with a view to Oslo landmarks such as Barcode, the Oslo Opera House and the new Munch Museum (opens in 2020)
